Amanda amara demuth

Amanda Demuth and her daughter, Amara Demuth passed away as the result of an automobile accident on August 29, 2011.
They are survived by their husband and father, Robert Demuth of Oxford; son and brother, Gavin Demuth of Oxford; parents and grandparents, Tim and Elaine Frank, and Diane and Rich Boyer; Amanda's brother and sisters, TJ Frank, Timisha Frank and Marlena Frank; grandparents and great grandparents, Marlene and Robert Pepper, Robert and Ronnie Frank, and Esther Rowe. And great-great grandmother Pauline Stevens. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Amanda was a graduate of Oxford Academy and Central School and worked at Gilmour Health Care Facility in Norwich. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially kayaking, hunting and fishing. She also liked to help cut wood and bird watch. She also enjoyed crafts. Amara loved everything in life. She would have entered 2nd grade at Oxford Academy and Central School this fall.
Private funeral services will be held on Saturday with the Rev. David Hanselman, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, officiating.
Friends may call at the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford on Friday from 7-9 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to a scholarship fund for Gavin at NBT Bank, 10 North Canal Street, Oxford, NY 13830.
