Armond Wheeler, Jr. 76 of Bainbridge passed away on September 29, 2017 at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City. He was born on December 23, 1940 in Unadilla, NY a son of the late Armond and Beulah (Neff) Wheeler, Sr. He was predeceased by his wife, Sharon Jackson Wheeler.
A very loving father, he is survived by his children, Peggy Wheeler of Easton, PA, Debby Tomino of Saylorsburg, PA, Armond Wheeler III of Unadilla, Kandy Wheeler of Lehighton, PA, Arnold Wheeler of Lehighton, PA, Armanda and Bob Crandall-Wheeler of Sidney, Adrianne and Ben Perry of Greene, Mark Wheeler of Sidney, Matt and Amy Wheeler of Oneonta, and John Wheeler of Utica; his sisters, Mary Lou Squires of Norwich, Anna Flewelen of Syracuse, and Bonnie Thomas of Syracuse; his grandchildren, Forrest, Paulena, Felica, Armond, Jessica, Glenn, Jennifer, Abby, Katie, Remington, Dylan, Braden, Holden, Logan, Sarah, Shania, Connor, Kyle, Devon, Dakota, Brittany, Joseph, Benny, Matthew, Gracie, and Jennaya ; his great grandchildren, Hudson,
. He was predeceased by his daughter, Shelly Wheeler and his grandchildren, Edward Squires, Tony and Sharon.
Armond enjoyed the outdoors, especially logging. He was a NASCAR fan. He liked working on antique tractors and cars in his spare time. He was deeply devoted to his family.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St, Oxford, NY with Rev. Mickaela St. Marie officiating. Burial will be in South Plymouth Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Behe Funeral Home, Oxford on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
