Betty l. decker

Betty L. Decker, 86 of Oxford, NY passed away on December 3, 2015 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on May 14, 1929 in Lambs Creek, PA a daughter of the late Charles and Wilda (Leadbitter) Palmer. On June 21, 1952 she married Cleo (Charley) Decker, who passed away on December 30, 2011.
She is survived by her children, Ellen, Betty, Penny and Robert, who loved her dearly. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sons, Michael and Charles and 3 sisters. Betty was a long member of Dryden Chapter #250 Order of the Easter Star.
She enjoyed working a Conti Jewelers in Owego, NY for several years. She was an avid bird watcher and could name almost any bird. She also was known for her chasing squirrels away from the bird feeders.
Private services will be held in Willow Glen Cemetery in Dryden, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to Operation Smile, Tidewater Drive, Chesapeake, VA 23502
