Carla J. Thurston (McLaren), 49 of Oxford passed away on December 6, 2018 surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her parents, Cal and Carol Thurston; her children, Troy and Dani Dibble and Crystal and Gary DeLapp; her siblings, Mike (Teresa) Thurston and Cindy (Tim) Franklin; and her grandchildren, Urijah, Gaven, Paisyn and Kenzi. As well as her beloved dogs, Lucifer and Dash.
Carla was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She loved spending Friday nights at the local dirt track and cheering her favorite NASCAR driver, Jimmie Johnson. She also enjoyed her pitch leagues, camping, and spending time with her friends and family.
Carla's family would like to give a special thanks to Ashley, Teresa, Cindy, Mindy, and the staff at Broome Oncology.

A Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM at the Oxford American Legion 17 S. Washington Ave. Oxford, NY 13830.
