Charles mark 'chuck' moran

Charles Moran "ChucK", 46, of Oxford, NY passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021 in Baghdad, Iraq. Chuck was born February 22, 1975 to Theresa (Welch) Moran and Alvin T Moran Jr. Chuck was predeceased by his grandparents Alvin T. Sr and Marion Moran, and Virginia Welch.
Chuck is survived by his very loving wife of 27 years, Carie Moran, and their four incredible children Kristen, Shelby, Austin, and Hayden Moran whom he loved very much. Chuck is survived by his parents Theresa Moran, Alvin Sr, and Mary Moran. He is also survived by his in-laws Lynn and Sue Ross. He is survived by his siblings Theresa B. Moran, Alvin T. Moran III, Sarah Diamond, and Nathaniel Eldred. Chuck is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Chuck was a graduate of Norwich Highschool and served 2 years in the Army Reserve during that time. On January 22, 1994, Chuck married the love of his life Carie Ross. He went on to Join the United States Army in August of the next year. He served 23 years and 1 day. Chuck was extremely proud of everything he learned and accomplished during his years in service. Charles Moran had a smile that filled the room with joy, and he will be very dearly missed. An honorable, loyal, and selfless man taken from us far too soon. But we can rest knowing that he is forever watching over all of those he loved.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Behe Funeral Home Inc. 21 Main Street, Oxford, NY 13830. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, April 5, 2021 at 1:00PM with Pastor Josh Rathmel Officiating, at the funeral home.
