Crooks, Charlotte L. (Tommee Hill/Crooks), 91, of Chenango Bridge/Horseheads/Owego, NY
On July 12, 1924 God sent an Angel to earth to dwell among us…She found her soul mate of 73 years in 1943. Lived, Loved, Laughed, made a wonderful family… Had Bad and Good times with all those she encountered…through it all, was always the loving mother and devote companion to her husband and family…On June 2, 2016 God requested his angel back in the Kingdom of Heaven, where she now resides with her loved ones so dearly missed.
Charlotte L (Tommee Hill) Crooks, passed peacefully on June 2, 2016, as she slept alongside the love of her life, while in residence at the NYS Veteran's Home, Oxford, NY. She was predeceased by her parents Anna May and Floyd Hill, her 11 Siblings Harry, Ralph, Harold, Floyd, Charles, William (Hilly), Lena, Iva, Pauline, Clara and Daniel … She is survived by her soul mate Philip E Crooks, 95 of Oxford/Chenango Bridge/Horseheads/Endicott, NY, Her children, Philip Crooks, Karen Crooks/Van Kleeck, Carol Crooks/Vanderpoole, Nancy Crooks/Strobel and David Crooks; Fifteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren. To all those who knew Tommee, raise a glass in toast on July 12 to a life well lived. Mom was always there for anyone - selflessly and was strongest when she was at her weakest and always loved Christ our lord as her savior. Friends may call at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 728 River Road, Binghamton on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM when a funeral service will be held with Rev. Mark Giroux officiating. Burial will follow in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 728 River Road, Binghamton, NY 13901.
