Clarence Melvin Manwarren 78 of Oxford, NY passed away peacefully on September,10,2021
surrounded by his family. Born to parents Arley E. and Margaret Manwarren, on May 10,1943. In Norwich NY.
Clarence worked many years for Henkels and McCoy as a lineman until he was injured on the job. He married the love of his life Dawn Arlene McAdams on February 2, 1963, who predeceased him as well as his parents and brothers, Glen, Clayton, Wilson (Bug) and his daughter Sebrena Effner.
Clarence is survived by his two daughters, Tammy Williams (Dennis) of Oxford NY, and Vicky Manwarren of Oxford, NY as well as his grandchildren Dennis J Williams (Danielle) of McDonough, NY, Peggy Smith (Corey) of Greene, NY, Danielle N. Williams of Oxford, NY, David Smith of Clinton, NY, William Effner of Delhi, NY, Dustin Manwarren of Oxford, NY, and Tiffany Manwarren of Oxford, NY Great-grandchildren, Dennis, Emily, Calab, Colten, Caden, Cooper, Dakota, Carter, Brayden
Also Survived by his three sisters, Gloria Fox, Shirley Collar, Sandy (Ralph) Kennedy and many nieces, nephews, and cousins
Clarence was a man of few words but wore his heart on his shirt sleeve and would help anyone in need. He loved spending time with his family and working on his carpentry projects. But most of he wanted to be fishing and later coming home with many stories about how the Big one got away
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford.
