David w. nevins

Nevins, David W. passed away April 25, 2016. Born in Buffalo on June 12, 1936. David transitioned from serving in the US Navy to electrical sales to teaching in 1986. He taught college physics and calculus at Alfred State College, Lenoir Community College and Gaston College in NC. He is predeceased by his wife Kathleen (formerly McManus).
David is survived by brother Donald R. Nevins, sister Marilyn J. Nevins, sons David P. Nevins (Brenda Nevins) and Christopher J. Nevins (Susan Nevins), grandchildren Erin,Amelia, Anna, Samantha, Cameron, and Tristan.
He is also survived by nieces and nephews. David loved music, running, and his dog, Shadow,of 17 years. Throughout his life he touched people through humor, his love of life and education.
