Dawn Marie Golden, 69 of Oxford passed away unexpectedly at her home on May 21, 2021. She was born on March 23, 1952 in Norwich a daughter of Charles and Ruth (Williams) Dawn Marie Golden, 69 of Oxford passed away unexpectedly at her home on May 21, 2021.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Golden; her children, Jason and Cheri Golden, Jessica and D.J. Waterman, Rebecca and Robert Jenkins, Amanda Holmes and Santee Black, and Darren and Caitlin Golden; her grandchildren, Drew Golden, Kara Golden, Eli Golden, Addisyn Waterman, Jamison Golden, and Abi Golden. Her father Charles Difenbacher survives her. She is also survived by her sister, Diane Shedd and her brothers, Kevin Difenbacher and Ron Difenbacher. She was predeceased by her daughter, Melissa Holmes.
Dawn graduated from Norwich High School, Class of 1970. She had a career with Proctor & Gamble that spanned 36 years, retiring in 2008. She and Don opened and have operated Oxford Motors for many years. Don and Dawn enjoyed traveling and camping with their motor home. Dawn loved her Thursday card games with her close friends. She was an avid quilter. Dawn was very caring and devoted to her family.
Friends may call at the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 7:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Richard Howard officiating. Private burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Norwich.
