Ross, Florence Amy.
"Amy" Ross, 90, of Oxford, NY went to be with the Lord on Thursday June 1, 2017. She was born November 7, 1926 in Whitney Point, NY. She was predeceased by her parents Oscar and Esther Birmingham. Her Brothers George and Terry and wife Ginny. Her brother -in -law George (Kaz) Kicsak. Her daughter Lorne Liberti and her great grandson Hunter James Larnerd.
Amy is survived by her Sons Martin and Lauren of South Carolina. Brian and Jennie Noyes of Guilford, NY. George E. of New Berlin, NY and her Son- In- Law Mark Liberti of Delaware. She is also survived by her granddaughters Megan and Kyle Knoblauch and Catie and D.J. Larnerd of Auburn, NY. Amy is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Amy graduated from Whitney Point Central Schools in 1943. She worked at "Endicott-Johnson" form 1943-1944. She then attended Courtland State College to obtain her teaching degree in 1947. She was a long time teacher at Oxford Academy and Central Schools. Amy taught English and Math. She retired from Oxford in 1983 after serving 30+ years. Amy was a member of Saint Paul's Episcopal Church of Oxford where she taught Sunday school.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Behe Funeral Home Inc. 21 Main St. Oxford, NY 13830. Friends and Family may call at Saint Paul's Episcopal Church on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Funeral mass for Amy will follow at 7:00 PM with Father David Hanselman officiating.
