Franklyn charles smith

Franklyn C. Smith, of Norwich, NY. Passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side on December 16, 2022. Franklyn was born in Tuscarora, NY son of the late Theodore and Leona (Buck) Smith. Frank was a kind and talented man who could fix anything. He worked many years in the Aircraft industry as a tool and dye maker to later retire and work as a mechanic. Frank was always a man to keep busy. He was always willing to help a friend or neighbor. Frank was an elder in the Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses of Norwich, NY. He was very committed to the congregation and was proud of his involvement. He will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved him.

Franklyn is survived by his loving wife Doris Smith and by his children Rhonda (Ronnie) Cubbage, Craig (Rebecca) Smith, Ellie (Reiner) Ettrich, and David (Stacy) Smith. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Franklyn was predeceased by his siblings.
