Gary mills

Gary James Mills, 71, of Norwich, NY. Passed away on September 17, 2022. Gary was born in Rochester, NY son of the late Frank and Myrtle (Thomas) Mills. Gary was predeceased by his parents and by his brother Thomas Mills.

Gary is survived by the mother of his children Bonnie Mills, and by his children Jamie Mills, Fred Mills, BJ Mills and wife Jennifer, Steven Mills and Jeffrey Mills and wife Jessica. He was also survived by his grandchildren Dante Mills, Tyler Furgison, Jasmine, Alec Mills, Rory Mills, Kamden Mills, Mariah Mills, Leah Mills, Meri Mills and Bryson Mills. Gary was also survived by 5 great grandchildren and by his good friends Chuck and Helen Bates. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Gary served in the United States Marine Corp, and was a Vietnam War Veteran, he was proud to be a veteran and to have been able to serve his country. Gary enjoyed bowling and playing pool. He and his pool buddies once took a trip to Las Vegas where they participated in a Scotch Doubles 9 Ball Tournament where he and his teammates came in at 129 out of the 276 teams participating in the event.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Gary’s memory can me made to the Vietnam Veterans of America.
