Karen Christine Serrano

Karen Christine Serrano, 71, of Norwich, NY, passed away on April 30, 2024. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Robert Groth and Marion Gallagher. Karen was predeceased by her parents, by her brother Robert “Bobby” Groth, and by her partner David Zingale.

Karen is survived by her children William Serrano and Christina (Larry) Zingale – Jensen. She is also survived by her two grandchildren and by her sister Eileen Hunter, and her niece and nephew Terry Gurl and Paulie Nassaur. She will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved her.

Karen loved animals and music. She enjoyed crocheting and camping with her family and fishing in Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn.
