Kenneth M. Schroer III
Born to Kenneth M. Schroer, Jr. and Karen A. Schroer (Rossman) on
Oct. 16, 1957 in Wahiawa, Hawaii while his Dad was in the Army. He returned to New York in 1959 and spent almost all of his years in Norwich and Chenango County and attended Norwich Central Schools.
He is survived by a sister, Suzanne J. Schroer , Shelton, WA. and her daughter, a very special niece, Jenna Schroer, Shelton, WA. and her children, Ethan Hill of Olympia, WA. and Aubriegh Hill, Olympia, WA. and her son Odin, a brother, Stephen Andrew Schroer (Mary Flaherty), Mercersburg, PA, his children Samantha A. Schroer, Mercersburg, PA and Alex Schroer, Orlando, FL (Bobby Asplint). Many other Aunts, Uncles and Cousins survive.
His early employment was at GLA/Simmons Precision, telephone contracting and all different types of truck driving from dump trucks to cross-country 18 wheelers. Most knew him as Kenny or Kenny-Bob. The name Kenny-Bob was given to him by a close friend when he frequently saw Kenny driving his truck tractor without a trailer, known as bobtailing.
His hobbies and interests included motocross as a participant, some motocross announcing at Unadilla, oldies and classic rock and country music, some excellent Karaoke renditions of his favorite songs, and long drives in the country.
