Kevin Wayne Moore "Poppy"

April 14, 1955 — October 8, 2024

Oxford

In loving memory of Kevin Wayne Moore, “Poppy", a beloved son, husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather who was taken too soon. He was born April 14, 1955, and passed away unexpectedly on October 8th, 2024, at 7:35pm at the young age of 69.
Poppy was born and raised in Oxford, NY where he met his wife of 54 years, Audrey (Hare) Moore. He loved hunting, fishing, woodworking, and spending time with his friends and family. He started working at Victory Markets and went on to become a very skilled self-contractor who worked on many homes in the area, and projects for his grandchildren. Even in his retirement Poppy was always working on something or spending his time doing one of his many hobbies, such as fishing with his best friend of 30 years, Bill Hufnagle. There wasn't a day that went by that Poppy wasn't doing the things that he loved.
He is preceded in death by his father Dorr Moore, and is survived by his Mother Marilyn Moore, and by his loving wife, Audrey Moore and their two beautiful daughters Alicia Hufnagle and Elizabeth Mirabito.
Alicia Hufnagle and her ex-husband Bill Hufnagle and their son Kaden Hufnagle, his half-siblings Kinsey and Brett Hufnagle, and Bill's current wife Pam.
Elizabeth Mirabito and her husband David Mirabito, and their two children Madison Mirabito and Dominic Mirabito.
Madison Mirabito and her partner Ethan Chamberlin, and their daughter Charlotte Chamberlin who was Poppy's first great granddaughter.
His siblings Terry Ray and her husband Scott Ray, Ricky Moore and his wife Joyce Moore, Laurie Clark and her husband John Clark, Shawn Moore, and Tobie Moore and his partner Heather Bradt, and all his nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be dearly missed by us all. We Love You Poppy. You will forever be in our hearts.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Behe Funeral Home Inc. Oxford, Ny. No funeral services will take place at this time. Friends and family may share memories and condolences by visiting www.behefuneralhome.com.
