Kevin Wayne Northup Sr

Kevin Wayne Northup Sr, of Oxford, NY. Passed away on March 7th, 2025. Kevin was born on May 10th, 1946, in Cortland, NY. He is Predeceased by parents Jay and Margorie (Burdick) Northup. Along with his siblings John, Keith, Douglas, Sandra (Harris), Kihm, and Hugh Northup. Kevin Was also predeceased by his Daughter Willette Northup and his grandchildren Alexis, Samantha, Chloe, and Jacob Northup.

Kevin is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Tena (Loomis) Northup. Kevin is also survived by his children Kathleen (Shawn) Ryan, Jessie Ryan, Jennifer Northup, Kevin Jr. (Denelle) Northup, Richard (Ashley) Northup, and Eric (Joyce) Northup. He is also survived by his siblings Carol Carpenter, Jay Northup Jr, Nancy Root, and Cynthia Northup. Kevin also leaves behind 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Kevin was a United States Army Veteran, he served his country from 1965 -1967 during the Vietnam War and was the recipient of a Vietnam Service Medal, two bronze service stars, a Republic of Vietnam campaign medal, army commendation medal, and a national defense service medal. Kevin was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and the Moose Club. He was also a member of the Oxford American Legion Post # 376.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Behe Funeral Home Inc. 21 Main Street, Oxford, NY. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 5:00PM-7:00PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 10:00AM with a graveside service at Glennwood Cemetery, Afton NY, following immediately after.
