Lawrence legant

Lawrence D. Legant, 66 of Binghamton, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2012 with his loving wife by his side. Larry was predeceased by his mother, Marion Legant and his lifelong friend Rex Flint. He is survived by his wife, Judith Legant who was his high school sweetheart whom he reunited with 25 years later and they were married for 26 years. He is also survived by his loving son David and Jennifer Legant and daughter Sherry Legant; five grandchildren; Morgan, Sarah, Nicole, Jessica and Brooke; six stepchildren, Maria (Frank) Sherman, Lauren (Franklin) Sherman, Cheryl Grindle, Michael (Cheryl) Norton, Lisa Wagner, and James Norton, 20 step-grandchildren and 5 step-great grandchildren. Larry graduated from Johnson City High School in 1963 and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Air Force in Thailand. He worked in the electronics technical field and enjoyed spending time on his computer. Larry and Judy enjoyed watching the Buffalo Bills games and his dream was to see them win a Super Bowl. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at the NYS Veterans Home at Oxford, for their exceptional care.
