Louise Wackford

Louise Ann Wackford, 84, of Oxford, NY. Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. Louise was born in Lebanon, PA, daughter of the late Richard Charles Troy and Julia Helen Klimovsky Troy. Louise was predeceased by her parents and by her son Michael Wackford and sister Eleanor Mitchell. 

Louise is survived by her loving husband Bruce Wackford and by her children Nina Angelina and Troy and Samantha Wackford. She is also survived by her siblings Richard Troy and Judy Troy and by her grandchildren Corey Wackford, Sheldon Wackford, Michael Wackford, Tyler Wackford, Kira Angelina, Zachary Angelina, Ivrie Wackford, and Emrie Wackford. Louise was also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Louise was a kind and loving woman. In her early years Louise worked for Eastern Airlines as a stewardess. She enjoyed her time spent working and traveling with the airline. Louise also worked for the NYS Veteran’s Home as a CNA for many years. She enjoyed caring for the elderly and took pride in her work. Louise was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her children and grandchildren and took every opportunity to dote on them. Louise took pride in her home and could always be found cleaning and tidying anything that may have found itself out of place.
