Mary Lou Nightengale, age 86, passed away on September 18, 2022.

Mary Lou was born in Bridgeport, CT

daughter of the late Homer Cobb and Helen (Clark) Cobb. Mary Lou was predeceased by her parents and by her son Duane Gordon.

Mary Lou is survived by her son Allen and Mable Gordon of Binghamton, NY and her daughter Julie Mead and significant other Tim Robertson of McDonough, NY. She is also survived by her siblings Alvin Cobb of Chiang Mai, Thailand, and Lois Krause of West Haven CT, and by 11 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Mary Lou was very dedicated to her community, neighbors, and friends. She volunteered for the March of Dimes for over 15 years. She was also a member of the McDonough Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and the Tuesday Women's Club. She enjoyed playing cards at the McDonough American Legion and square dancing at the McDonough dance hall. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
