Mary shimer

Mary Rita Sullivan Shimer 73, of Bainbridge, NY. Passed away in her sleep December 1 2020, at Elizabeth Church Manor in Binghamton NY.
Mary was an Auxiliary member of the Coventry Fire Department, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Oxford American Legion Post # 376, and an auxiliary member of the Norwich VFW. She was also a member of First Baptist Church of Afton, and a member of the Willing Hands club which was started by her mother in law, Marion Shimer.
Mary was predeceased in death by her sister, Ann and Michael Whiteseed, and mother in law, Marion Shimer, father in law Francis Shimer, and her nephew William Schultze.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Robert W. Shimer, her children; Paul McKay, Christopher McKay, Carrie and Eric Shimer, and Robert Shimer, stepdaughter; Laura and Roy Hinkle, daughter in law; Sarah McKay and niece; Beth Schultze and her loving grandchildren; Emily Hinkle, Rose McKay, Nicole McKay, and Jack Hinkle and her grandniece; Emma Schultze.
Mary's family would like the thank the Elizabeth Church Manor for their amazing and wonderful care and attention.
