Peter A Timperlake

Peter A Timperlake, 83 of Oxford NY, passed away peacefully at Chenango Memorial Hospital on November 24^th, 2023.

Peter is survived by his wife Nancy Timperlake and his children; Janet and James Brown, Andrew John Timperlake and Kim Miranda, and his three stepchildren and their families; he is also survived by his grandchildren, Robert (Cassie) Brown and Noah Timperlake. Peter is predeceased by his daughter Mary Timperlake.

Peter was born in Norwich NY, son of the late Earl and Mary (Kopac) Timperlake. He grew up on the Kopac Farm which later became Bowman Lake State Park. As Peter grew older, he joined the United States Army and served for 20 years until he retired. After retiring from the Army, he worked for the Utica United States Postal Service. He was also a 27-year member of the Oxford Lodge # 175 F&AM, and a life member of the NRA. Peter was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting for big game in Alaska and North America.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Shriners Childrens Hospital or St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Behe Funeral Home Inc, 21 Main Street, Oxford, NY 13830.
