Philip myers

Philip R. Myers, 68 of McDonough, passed away on January 31, 2020. Philip was born in Benton, KY son of the late Raymond and Mary Myers. Philip was predeceased by his parents, his stepmother Corene Sledd Myers and his uncle Pat Myers.
Philip is survived by his loving wife and soul mate Nanette Myers, his sons Conner Myers and Joshua Hofmann and by his daughter Kelcie Hofmann. He is also survived by his sister Linda (Rick) Clark, his mother in-law Jan Burcroff, his aunts Nell Langston, Ann (Guy) Via, and Faye King and his uncle Hugh Edwards. He is also survived by his close friends Dustin Gage, Stephanie and Will Alston, Luann Parry, Bill Skyler and Family, Joe Summerville and the family of Don Snow Trucking. He will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved him.
Philip was a loving husband, father and best friend. He enjoyed horse back riding, camping, fishing, and gardening. He could always be found tinkering with something. He played the harmonica and dobro guitar. He enjoyed the time he spent truck driving and riding motorcycles. Philip was also very fond of the summer he spent in Wyoming working at the Castagno Outfitters Dude Ranch. He was a good man and loved his family very much.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Behe Funeral Home Inc. 21 Main Street, Oxford, NY 13830. A celebration of life will be held in the spring at the family's convenience. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution in Philip's memory can be made out to his son Joshua Hofmann. Donations would go toward Joshua's college tuition. Philip was so proud of Joshua and all the hard work he had put into getting into college and his schoolwork. Contributions can be sent care of Behe Funeral Home Inc.
