Pastor Ralph Hinman:
Pastor Ralph Ora Hinman went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 4, 2020. Ralph was born on December 3, 1939 to Fred E and Flossie May (Law) Hinman. He is predeceased by his parents, his son Wayne Pat and a sister Norma Matthews, and 3 grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 61years. Florence "Pat" (Monell) Hinman and his cat Tommy. He is also survived by his children Ralph E. and Debbie Hinman, Wendy and Mike Grow, Teresa and Ray Clapper, David and Denise Hinman, Kathy and Dennis Mead, Rena and Matthew Frayer and Dane Michael Hinman. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
He is also survived by his siblings. Janet Law of Colton, NY, Mildred Smith and Melody and Bernie Langille of Norwich NY, Fred (Buddy) and Thelma Hinman, of Oxford and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He loved his grandchildren so much and they would call him "Grandpa Monster" during playtime with them, He would run around chasing them and they loved it.
Ralph was Pastor of several churches in New York State and served the Lord until he was no longer able. He was dedicated to bringing any one he met to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
He graduated from Liberty College in Virginia with a degree in counseling. He worked countless hours in the Service of the Lord. Ralph was the New York State Representative for Bible Baptist Fellowship, and was one of the original founders of the Bible Baptist Fellowship East. He also worked full time as a Plumber and Pipe fitter for Local 112 in Binghamton NY which often took him to many other areas in the state and out of state. He was Chaplain for the New York State Veterans Home for many years and enjoyed his time there and also served on the board for the Riverview Cemetery Association in Oxford. Ralph also served on the Plumbing Board in the City of Norwich.
There will be no funeral services at this time due to the Corona Virus but there will be having a Celebration of Life once we can do it without fear. There will be a private burial.
