Robert W. Gallo Jr.

Robert W. Gallo Jr., 41 of Oxford, NY. Passed away unexpectedly on May 29,2023. Rob was predeceased by his mother; June Landon, his father Robert Gallo Sr, and his beloved daughter Marlee-mae Gallo.

Rob is survived by his children, who abundantly love and miss him, Davin Gallo, Kadence Gallo, Jacob Gallo and Ezrah Gallo. His stepchildren, Emily Barrows, Gabrielle Collins, Ryker Collins and Madaline Collins. Rob is also survived by his sisters Winnie Burke, Deanne Burke, Robin Mirabito, and Patti Gallo. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Rob was a person with an infinite capacity to love, a selfless man. He had overcome so much and turned his life around. He was a loving father to all his children and worked hard to support them. Rob could do anything he set his mind to and met all his goals, he was a man of his words and a writer of words that were creative, expressive and could soothe any sole.  He was the baby of the family having 4 older sisters who affectionately called him "Bobby”. His children all talk about their father in terms of his love for others whether it was being only a phone call away or making them laugh. Rob was charismatic and was normally the center of attention and would always light up the room. He loved all types of music (especially Sappy Songs), sunrises, sunsets, photography, and long car rides. One of Rob's most enduring qualities was his ability to be present in any moment-- to make everyone he came in contact with feel that they were loved because they were. Rob believed in acts of kindness and always helped those who were in need. He believed in the power of positivity. The sadness of this moment is merely a grain of sand in the wind, of the love that Rob's life left behind. Everyone who has come into his orbit will miss him deeply.
