Shirley (Little) Menard, 66, of Oxford, NY passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Norwich Rehabilitation Center on April 5, 2015. Shirley is survived by the love of her life, husband Dale Menard; her children Thomas (Tracy) Piatti of Sherburne; Megan (Tim) Kinter of Bainbridge; Bradley (Tiffany) Menard of Toledo, OH; Ashley (Jason) Place of Clinton; seven grandchildren Jonah, Timmy, Emma, Elizabeth, Eric, Jackson, Sydney; and three brothers Russell Little, John Davis and Kevin Davis. She is predeceased by her parents Ruth and Gordon Davis. Born in Norwich, NY on October 15, 1948, Shirley grew up in Earlville, NY. She graduated from Earlville High School in 1967, was a drum major and cheerleader. She was a devoted mother to her children Megan and Tom, who along with their children were her greatest joy. Shirley loved horses and taking care of the many horses she had. She loved the outdoors, riding motorcycle and camping with her husband. Out of all of these activities, what she loved most was to spoil her grandchildren. She enjoyed working with family and many friends at Amphenol, New York Central Mutual and, by her husband's side, at Menard's Garage.
Her life will be celebrated with calling hours on Saturday, April 11 from 5-7 at the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford, NY with the funeral immediately following. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.
