Steven J. Hamer

August 17, 1971 – August 7, 2023

Steven Jon Hamer, 51, of Norwich passed away unexpectedly on the morning of August 7, 2023. 

Steve was born in Rochester, NY on August 17, 1971 to Jolene Hubers and the late Robert Hamer.  He and his wife, Angela Wheeler Hamer, were married on November 18, 1995.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Jolene of Rochester, NY, his sister Lisa Tranquill and husband Michael of San Antonio, TX; sister Sue Vito and husband Joe of Holley, NY as well as three nieces, Amanda, Angela, and Alicia.  He is also survived by his step-mother Cathy “Fin” Finley and by Angela’s family and his cats Shadow and Charlie.

Steve grew up in Henrietta and Canandaigua, NY and graduated from Naples High School in 1990.  Steve loved technology and enjoyed helping friends and family with their computer issues.
