Walter P. Kaminski, 73, of Oxford, NY, passed away on March 20, 2024. Walter was born in Jonesport, ME, son of the late Walter and Irma (Huntley) Kaminski. He married his loving wife Barbara (Bornschein) Kaminski in 1969, and together they had two sons whom they loved very much. Walter proudly served in the United States Air Force. After returning home from active duty, he worked for Northrop Grumman for over twenty years as an aircraft mechanic fixing military jets. Walter specialized his skills working on F14 fighter jets. Walter had a passion for restoring classic cars. He often spent time with his sons working on cars and taking them to classic car shows, such as the regular cruise-in in Hamilton, NY. Walter is survived by his wife Barbara, and their sons, Philip and wife Alice Kaminski, and Kyle and wife Kylie Kaminski. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jaden, Ryley, Benjamin, Logan, and Landon. Also surviving Walter are his siblings Joyce Franco, Carol Rizzi, and David and Theresa Edwards. Walter is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved him.
