Zilpha g. denny

Zilpha G. Denny, 87 of Oxford passed away on August 2, 2016 at Chenango Memorial Hospital, Residential Health Care Facility. She was born on April 25, 1929 in Deposit, NY a daughter of the late Austin and Bertha (Whitman) Gifford.
She is survived by her daughters and sons in law, Joan and Bruce Leonard of Oxford and Stella and Robert Deyneka of Elbridge, NY; her sister, Savalla Howland of Masonville; her grandchildren, Heidi (Leonard) and Michael Malloy and children Reilly Malloy and Daniel Casey Malloy; Megan Leonard, Joy (Deyneka) and Robert Whitbred and son Kevin Whitbred, and Melissa (Deyneka) and Matthew Chengrian and children, Madison Chengrian and McKenna Chengrian.
Zilpha had worked at the Blind Workshop in Binghamton for many years. She enjoyed listening to talking books. She was a former Girl Scout leader. She loved her family very much.
There will be no services at her request. Burial was in Nanticoke Valley Cemetery, Union Center, NY.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford, NY.
